The UCL Group Stage will get underway in about 2 to 3 weeks time. So I guess It’s time to look at the groups and teams.
To start off let’s talk about some of the “cinderella stories” of the campaign so far:
– Leicester City
That’s right! Last seasons shock winners of the EPL are in for a run in the world’s greatest club competition. They came through by winning the EPL.
– Legia Warsaw
The Polish superstars will star in this year’s UCL. But they have no intention of going through, because they have Borrusia Dortmund and Real Madrid.
– FC Rostov
The small team from Russia will compete in the UCL for the first in their history after they destroyed the Dutch superstars by the name of Ajax 4-1 in the second leg (5-2 on aggregate) of their UCL Group Stage Playoffs.
Next, let’s look at the groups

Group B: Benfica (PORTUGAL), Napoli (ITALY), Dynamo Kyiv (UKRAINE), Beşiktaş (TURKEY)
Group C: Barcelona (SPAIN), Manchester City (ENG) (BARCA!!! You’re kidding me.), Borussia Mönchengladbach (GERMANY), Celtic (SCOTLAND)
Group D: Bayern München (GERMANY), Atlético Madrid (SPAIN), PSV Eindhoven (NETHERLANDS), Rostov (RUSSIA)
Group E: CSKA Moskva (RUSSIA), Bayer Leverkusen (GERMANY), Tottenham Hotspur (ENGLAND), Monaco (FRANCE)
Group F: Real Madrid (SPAIN), Borussia Dortmund (GERMANY), Sporting CP (PORTUGAL), Legia Warszawa (POLAND)

Group A
Why: PSG vs. Arsenal is going to be awesome to watch
Group C
Why: It’s Man City’s group, of course!
Group D
Why: I’m interested to see how Rostov do.
Group F
Why: Dortmund vs. Real Madrid!!!!
Group G
Why: Two words. Leicester. City.
The Champions League starts on Sept. 13 so get that worn out jersey from under the a bout out and support your team!
